We are pleased to announce Healthwatch Sutton has been recognised as highly commended for 'Helping more people to have their say' at the 2019 Healthwatch Network Awards.
Independent health and social care champion Healthwatch Sutton is calling on local services to make more space for new parents in Sutton to talk about their mental health.
We surveyed over 300 expectant and recent mums, as well as their partners, looking at their experiences of services and views concerning their mental wellbeing.
Today, we publish what we found when we asked over 300 expectant and recent mums, as well as their partners, about their experiences of services and views concerning their mental wellbeing.
We are always looking at ways to strengthen the 'voice' of local people and that includes ensuring that there are opportunities for Sutton patients to participate in and influence decision making.
Healthwatch Sutton has been nominated for a national award by Healthwatch England for 'Helping more people to have their say' on children and young people's mental health.
The Care Quality Commission has rated Sutton's Dr Hafeez and Partner practice as Good overall. Previously it was in special measures and rated Inadequate.
