Patient Groups

Most GP practices in Sutton have a PPG (Patient Participation Group). Patients meet with their Practice staff to provide feedback on the Practice’s services. Please contact your Practice if you’re interested in joining.

Each PPG also sends delegates to the PRG (Patient Reference Group). The PRG meet once every two months and give feedback to professionals from a variety of local health and social care services. Healthwatch Sutton supports the PRG by arranging speakers, taking minutes, organising meetings and so forth. Please see below for the minutes from 2025:

May 2025 PRG Minutes/July 2025 PRG Minutes

Cllr Barry Lewis, Sutton Council Leader, had the following feedback for the PRG after attending in July 2025:

  • "I was invited to the Patient Reference Group meeting earlier this summer and it was interesting to hear the feedback given by the representatives there. I urge anyone who would like to be part of the PRG to make contact with Andrew as it really allows you to get involved."

If you’re interested in joining the PRG, please contact Healthwatch Sutton.
