Speaking up for better care: Annual Report 2025 - 2026

Read our 2025/26 Annual Report to learn about the impact of our work over the past year and our key priorities for the year ahead.

Key highlights from 2025/26 include:

  • 511 people shared their experiences of health and social care services with us, helping to identify issues, raise awareness, and drive improvements in local care
  • We published 5 reports highlighting the changes people would like to see in key areas of care: Maternity, Earwax, Frailty, Safeguarding and Community Mental Health
  • We spoke to 189 residents, family members and carers about Sutton's safeguarding process and presented our recommendations to the Sutton Safeguarding Adults Board and Sutton Adult Social Care, which accepted the majority of them
  • Our dedicated volunteers contributed around 600 hours to support our work, including conducting interviews, gathering community feedback, and representing Healthwatch Sutton at local events

In the year 2023-24, over 1100 people shared their views, ideas and experiences about health and social care with us
519 people came to our partners at Together for Sutton for advice about health topics, and for support with making formal complaints to the NHS.
We published 3 reports about the improvements people would like to see to health and social care services.
