Healthwatch Sutton has produced a report on patient’s experiences in accessing Ear Wax Removal in the borough.

87 individuals completed a Patient survey. The responses show that access to free treatment is confusing and un-uniform. It also shows that using oil, the primary method of removal promoted by healthcare professionals, is ineffective for the vast majority of individuals.

Following the publication of our report, we asked all 21 GP surgeries in Sutton if they provide an ear wax removal service.
