St Helier is still here for you

A message from Dr Dino Pardhanani, GP Borough Lead for Sutton.
St Helier urge people to attend appointments and A&E

Following our message earlier this week, advising you about a small number of positive Covid-19 cases at St Helier, we want to reassure you that we are back to business as usual at our hospitals. St Helier has remained open to all patients - for planned appointments or emergency care in the A&E department.

We urge people to attend their planned appointments, and our A&E remains open. Please don't delay attending. It's important that you get the care you need as delaying treatment can have serious consequences. The safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff is our priority and those who tested positive has been isolated from other patients, with arrangements in place to maintain safe and high-quality care.

Please be assured that:

  • The Trust, alongside our partners in the community, continue to carefully monitor the situation.
  • We continue to follow all relevant infection prevention and control guidelines.
  • We will continue to provide hospital-grade surgical masks at the entrances to our hospitals, and will ask that all visitors wear one throughout their time on site.
